About Classifications
The Classifications include any institution that conferred at least 1 degree in the academic year 2019-20 as reported through the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). The Classifications also include data from military service institutions that do not participate in the IPEDS survey. For more information, see the Classification methodologies.
